Mike watched the water sparkle from a distance. Already, he was calmer than ever. He laughed, looking to his feet and shook his head. “If you haven’t noticed, I’m Asian. Then again, he’s my father. I’m powerful thanks to him. But, you don’t look like a loser. I mean, you’re nice. Sort of. I’d think you’d have a lot of friends.” He turned his head to her and smiled, grabbing her hand, pulling her closer as he lifted her into his arms. “Hold on tight. We’re going to be there in a second.” Mike snickered and waited for her to lock her arms on him.
She blushed a little, feeling a little uncomfortable in his arms. But, at least he was treating her alright. That was something. “I g-guess you’re right… I could have it a lot worse, b-but I really didn’t have that many friends. I stuttered a lot a-and people d-didn’t really talk to me…” Tina sighed a little, relaxing and locking her arms around him to hold on tightly.

His hand rested, still gripping on the towel as he walked with her. Laughing softly, Mike looked down at Tina and shook his head again. “Don’t really blame you. I did treat you like crap your first day here.” He shrugged and stepped just a little ahead of the girl and looked back, and pushed the grand door open enough and opened the door wider, holding it open for Tina to come outside with him. “Where were you?” He asked squinting slightly due to the sun in his eyes. “I mean, before my father took you. Where did you live?”
She nodded, sighing and following him. It wasn’t really like she had much of a choice, she kind of had to trust him. “I lived in the middle of nowhere. Some tiny town in Ohio that nobody’s ever heard of or cares about. That’s probably why he took me, because nobody would ever notice. I mean, really. An Asian loser goes missing in small town Ohio? Not the best headline.”

Mike shook his head, then looked back at her again. “Well, wish you could’ve told me that sooner. Would’ve saved all of this stealth-like creeping.” He just sighed letting her go before him. “Chi.” He added breaking the small silence. “My power’s Chi.” He bit his lip and adjusted the towel over his shoulder, taking quicker steps, making his way next to Tina.
She bit her lip, smiling a little and looking up at him almost nervously. “I-I…I didn’t really trust you before this. Even hated you a little. So, I didn’t want you to know too much about me or my powers. In case I needed to use it. Not that I’m even sure how I would have. It’s not that great a power. The best I got is that nobody can sneak up on me.”

What the hell?
That’s what I said…

Mike turned raising an eyebrow, “Thank me? For what? Bringing you outdoors?” He laughed a little opening his door by just a crack, examining the halls. It was noon, so the guards were probably eating. If anything, Mike had a quick getaway. Stepping away from the open door, he held his hand out facing the outside of the room. “Ladies first.” He smirked a little and waited for Tina to go ahead of him.
Tina nodded, smiling a little. “Yeah… Obviously you’re supposed to. I mean, judging by the way we’re sneaking around. By the way, I could just told you there wasn’t anyone there. That’s kinda my power. I can sense when there’s someone around. So, don’t ever try to sneak up on me. Okay? It’s a waste of time.” She sighed, walking out and pretty much leading him since she could sense where people were.

Mike curled his lips in, really getting into playing Temple Run. This game was kind of addicting and fun. But, it did aggravate the boy at most times. Once he ran into the log, he rolled his eyes and slid his phone in his pocket and turned his attention to Tina with a laugh. Nodding, he stood up and examined her. “You look great. Just saying.” Sighing contently, he gently pulled her with him before keeping his hand to himself. “We’re going to do this quietly, okay? I don’t want my father freaking out for socializing.”
She sighed, rolling her eyes a little. “Fine…” He was nice, but she still didn’t want to be there. It was still kidnapping and completely illegal. But, she didn’t have to do anything yet and he hadn’t really touched her inappropriately or anything. So, she had to give him at least that much credit. He wasn’t treating her as bad as he could. “I guess I should thank you…” She paused, biting her lip a little. “Which I would, if this wasn’t kidnapping and everything.”

The castle was as boring as ever and Mike wanted some entertainment. He rolled off his bed that late afternoon walking into his closet throwing his shirt off into the laundry pile and took a wife beater, sliding it over his head and grabbed a pair of swimming trunks quickly sliding off his jeans and boxers, replacing them with the trunks immediately. As he drew in a deep breath, he threw his jeans and boxers into the pile and walked out of the room rubbing his hands together. “Tina?” He called out looking around. “Grab your towel, get changed, we’re going to the beach.” Mike laughed a little walking to the other side of his room, grabbing a beach towel and waited at the edge of his bed, pulling his phone out, pressing one of the apps on it to play a game whilst waiting for Tina to come out and join him.
Tina sighed, nodding and changing into her bathing suit. He’d given it to her and it wasn’t too bad. Everything was still new to her and she was still trying to understand what was going on with him. He was so strange. When they first met, he was almost cruel. But, now she was actually starting to like him. Walking out, she looked at him confused. “Really?” How confident was he? He just had his phone out like he wasn’t even worried about her getting it from him.
